Recently there have been a number of break ins in our street. We have high walls around our property. Above 3 of those high walls we have a palisade fence with spikes. We decided to install a palisade fence with spikes above the 4th wall as well.
Crime in SA Increased over the 2021/ 22 Period
According to Stats SA the experience of crime by households has increased for housebreaking, home robbery, assault and murder.

This boundary wall is 33 meters long. A new palisade fence (1 m high) was installed on top of this wall (the 4th wall).
