Is WPBakery and Visual Composer the same?
Visual Composer Website Builder and WPBakery Page Builder are two completely separate plugins. The WPBakery Page Builder plugin relies on shortcodes to render its content while the new Visual Composer Website Builder relies on react-based output. Both are independent plugins and hence one cannot be replaced by another.
Can I use Visual Composer with WPBakery?
WPBakery Page Builder can handle many of the functions of the Visual Composer website builder. It is used in addition to a theme and works flawlessly with any theme you choose.
What is the new name of Visual Composer?
WPBakery Page Builder. Starting from October 2017 Visual Composer Page Builder plugin for WordPress has been renamed to WPBakery Page Builder.
